The Eliminator Chemical Free Air Scour AIO System exclusively from Discount Water Softeners removes iron effectively and economically without the added expense of chemicals, pumps or external air injectors. The Eliminator works by forcing additional oxygen to the top of the tank adding oxidation abilities needed for proper precipitation of dissolved impurities for removal. The water travels through the media in the tank and oxidizes filterable contaminants. Next, the filter media bed traps oxidized contaminants such as iron, manganese, and hydrogen sulfide. The sediment is backwashed from the media bed typically every 3 days.

Our Eliminator Chemical Free system allows you to reduce high dissolved iron up to 7ppm, manganese up to 5ppm, and hydrogen sulfide up to 5ppm with one simple system. We accelerated the oxidation process by simply adding oxygen to enhance the system capabilities. The Eliminator Chemical Free replaces older Greensand type filter systems that have been used within the water treatment industry. The Eliminator functions without the use of expensive, messy, and poisonous potassium permaganate. The Eliminator is a "set and forget" system! No need to ever worry about reprogramming or resetting the time. The Eliminator control has a unique feature of an internal capacitor that will keep your time set for up to 48 hours in the event of a power outage. It also has a non volatile memory standard that will never allow your system settings to ever be lost.
Water supply must be free of iron bacteria. Will not remove colloidal iron or Sulfates or SRB's. pH must be above 7.0 for standard system. Select below 6.8 for non standard systems.
