By purchasing from Discount Water Softeners, Inc. you agree to all terms and policies outlined below.

Shipping Costs

Unless specifically noted on our web site, all items purchased from Discount Water Softeners are shipped at no additional cost within the contiguous U.S.(Hawaii and Alaska residents must call for shipping quotes) Free shipping applies only to our standard method of shipping which is by ground UPS, FedEx, or freight trucking. Small parts and test kit orders may be sent via U.S. Postal service and may not be available to track online. If you require any other method (next day, second day, etc.) you will be charged an additional cost for that specific method of transport. Please email or call (847) 462-9000 to obtain the required rate. Shipping to Canada is not currently available. Contact us for any other shipping quote.

Prices

All prices and specifications are subject to change without notice. Any order shipped to an Illinois address will be charged 8% sales tax. Discount Water Softeners will not be held liable for graphic, clerical, typographical, and printing errors.

Forms of Payment

Payments may be made by credit card or certified check. Discount Water Softeners currently accepts VISA, MasterCard, American Express and Discover credit cards.

Order Acceptance

Discount Water Softeners reserves the right to refuse any order. It is solely the customer's responsibility to inspect all orders immediately for damage or missing items prior to receipt of shipment to file claims. Failure to do so will void any loss or damage claim. In the event of low stock or out of stock items, Discount Water Softeners, Inc. reserves the right to substitute items for equal or higher quality items without prior customer consent.

Special Orders

Special orders for non-stock or specialty items can be made by contacting us via email or phone. All non-stock special order sales are final and can not be returned. Special orders may take 3 to 6 weeks for delivery depending upon manufacturer and specific item.

Customer Privacy

All customer information provided to Discount Water Softeners for the purpose of ordering or general correspondence is held in confidence. We do not sell, rent, or share customer information with any non-affiliated third parties.

Warranty

All goods are warranted for materials and workmanship by the manufacturer. While specific warranties for many goods exceed 1 year, the warranty period for all goods shall be no less than 12 months from receipt of merchandise. Refer to factory for full warranty terms and warranty information covering a specific product. All warranty submissions require proof of actual manufacturer defect be submitted for warranty consideration.

Customer Liability

Discount Water Softeners, Inc. will not be held responsible for any damage or injuries caused by improper installation, or for misuse or misapplication of any product distributed. It is ultimately the customer's responsibility to provide proper installation as well as all information for proper application. Installation of any systems containing carbon, birm, or greens and medias is strictly prohibited under Proposition 65 of the state of California. Discount Water Softeners, Inc nor it's supplier or manufacturers can be held responsible for customer installations of the above systems or components.
